| California State College at Fullerton is my alma mater where I also received my Single-Subject Teaching Credential. Also, I am certified by the state to teach English as a second language. To augment teaching and learning in the twenty-first century, I fairly recently earned a masters degree in Educational Technology. |

| My husband's name is Steven K. Gilbert Ph.D. He teaches at Ayala High School in Chino, California. I have three daughters, three granddaughters and two grandsons. |
| Why did you become a teacher? |
| Teaching is a noble profession. I enjoy working with and helping people. If I wasn't a teacher, I would probably be working in the health profession in some capacity. |

| Fall 2010 is the beginning of my twenty-second year of teaching high school English. |
| Interests & Hobbies |
| My hobbies and interests include, bicycle riding, taking walks, working out at the gym, reading, exploring museums, attending cultural events and traveling. |
