| Why did you become a teacher? |
| I really became a teacher because I love teenagers...I learn as much from them as I hope they learn from me. I hope to open their minds up to the wonders of the world through literature! |

| I have been at FVHS for 17 years as a basketball coach, substitue teacher, and now as a full time English/Language Arts Teacher. This is my 12th year teaching English at FVHS. |

| I love to travel...anywhere! I have been all over Europe, Guatemala, El Salvador, Bali, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay & lived in Spain, Honduras & Chile. I fianlly made my DREAM trip to Peru & climbed to Machi Picchu the ancient Incan ruins! I'm planning my next trips to Africa & to visit antartica in Chile & Argentina! I also enjoy doing anything outdoors...camping, fishing, hiking, jet skiing, volleyball, & of course basketball. And watch out Lance Armstrong...here I come on my new bike! ;) I am an Olympics junkie!!!

| I guess I should add the day I got married to this list now!
My most memorable moment was the day I stood on a mountain top at the exact point where Honduras, Guatemala, & El Salvador connect! El Triumfo!
My most fearful experience was sleeping in a hammock in the Amazon jungle in Brazil for 12 hours...talk about your mind playing tricks on you! Yikes!!
The moment I hear the words " I get it!" I know I have experienced the ultimate moment in teaching & coaching!! |
