| I am currently working on my Masters of Art Education at CSU Long Beach. I received my B.A. in Art Studio from UC Santa Barbara, and completed my credential at CSU Long Beach. My junior year of college I studied abroad for the summer in the south of France. |

| I am recently married to my amazing husband Jake Henderson. My Mom Stephanie teaches at Dwyer Middle School, my Dad Rick teaches in Long Beach, and my favorite brother Brian is coaching Swimming and Water Polo at Whittier College where he will also be working on his credential and teaching masters for History |
| Why did you become a teacher? |
| I began teaching swimming at 17 and have been drawn to the profession ever since. I love learning and sharing knowledge with others, and as you can see, it's in my blood! |
| Years teaching? |
| I have been teaching swimming for 10 years ( I still teach swimming in the summers). I was Sunset Junior Lifeguard Instructor, and I also taught a summer art camp at the Orange County Museum of Art. I student taught at FVHS in 2004 making this my 4rth year of teaching Barons. |
