Family
My dad is a retired program director for an aerospace engineering company, my mom is a retired middle school Spanish teacher, & my little brother, Darin is a swimming record-holding-alumni of FVHS and a graduate of UC Davis. I have a fish named Hubert.
Why did you become a teacher?
I had a teacher in high school who genuinely cared about students and what we had to say. This teacher believed in my abilities to accomplish what I wasn't sure was possible. I hope to do the same for my students.
Years teaching?
This is my 6th year. I student taught at FVHS, went to Westminster HS for a bit, & then came back to the home of the Barons! In the past, I substitute taught for two years in middle school and with pre-school and elementary students with disabilities in Adapted PE.

Interests & Hobbies
Reading, singing, cooking, karaoke, dancing, & philosophizing. I collect frog anything. I dig Law & Order and love Top Chef.
Most memorable moment
Waking up early to work the OC Marathon with the dedicated members of Make-A-Wish, Singing karaoke with Ms. Ackermann at AP karaoke night, being dunked in the dunk tank for Edison week, AP 5th & 6th feuds, to name a few.
