My husbands name is Treovr and I have a 9 year old son whose name is Lyjah. He has a dog named Odie and a tree frog named Jumper! At out house in Northern California I have 8 other dogs: Eligh, Mazy, Catapillar, Thor, Buddy, Kia, River and Coby!
Why did you become a teacher?
I love life and all of its wonders. Biology fascinates me and I want to share that excitement for life and education with everyone. I hope to inspire students to be care takers of the earth and protect it for future generations.
Personal Comments/Quotes
“The most important use of knowledge and education is to help us understand the importance of engaging in more wholesome actions and bringing about discipline within our minds. The proper utilization of our Intelligence and knowledge is to effect changes from within to develop a good Heart.” The Dalai Lama
Interests & Hobbies
I like to spend my time outside with my family. We like to go to the beach and the park with his dog and I coach his AYSO soccer team. We also really enjoy mountain biking, white water rafting and spending time with friends and family.
Most memorable moment
In the summer of 2000, I went to Panama for 3 months to work at the Institute for Tropical Ecology and Conservation. I joined a research team that was doing a population study of the Eyelash Pit Viper (a venomous snake). I was in the rainforest everyday, all day long. It was AMAZING!!
