| Ed, my husband of 30+ years is a landscape architect; my son graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Film/Television Production and a concentration in production design has been busy in the industry since most recently in the area of set design. My graduated from Arizona State Univ. with a degree Elementary Education and played water polo. We have a Jack Russell Terrier and a cat. |
| Why did you become a teacher? |
| I enjoy being with students, and helping them become enlightened about the world they live in. |
| Years teaching? |
| I re-started my teaching career in 1991 in the Long Beach Unified School District at Hoover MS, Rogers MS and finally Long Beach Wilson HS. I came to FVHS in 1997. After leaving Cal Poly, I was a substitute in the Anaheim and Irvine districts and in the OC Court Schools. In between my substitute work and returning to the teaching field full time, I worked as both a Workers Compensation and Human Resources Administrator. |

| Interests & Hobbies |
| I personally enjoy boating, reading, scrap booking, computers and spending time with family. We have a place at Parker on the Colorado River which I really love going to for the boating and relaxation. My husband and I help my brother-in-law with his drag boat. I love to watch my kids, and students participate in the sports of water polo, soccer and swimming. |

| Milestone events involving my family, such as births, high school and college graduations. I'm also incredibly proud of our department students who participate in FHA and compete in the events. |
